Model ER 5000

The Auto Power ER is a 5000 watt electric start portable generator with built in controls that enable it to be an on demand automatic start and stop power supply for use in remote areas where power is required only on an intermittent basis for pumping water, ventilation, lighting, etc.

The ER Model is compact, easy to hook up, reliable and a very affordable alternative to having a commercial power supply installed in many remote areas.

The ER Model unit starts and runs only when there is a demand for electrical power. To accomplish this, the ER Model needs only to be connected to a 2-wire signal switch or switches. The signal switch can be a type of on / off switch that might be a float in a water tank, a pressure switch, a thermostat, a motion detector, or any type of on / off control.

When the signal switch goes to the “on” position, the Auto Power generator automatically starts providing 120V-240V power. When the power demand is filled, the switch goes to the “off” position, automatically shutting the generator off, to restart the next time there is a demand for power whether it is two minutes or two months from then.

Any of the controls listed in the Model R section are compatible for use on the Auto Power ER unit.
