Model ESB 5000

The Auto Power ESB Model is a uniquely designed portable generator that is also a completely self-contained automatic stand-by generator. The auto stand-by feature can be used in any location that has a working 30A – 240 outlet available to connect the Model ESB 5000 to. No further wiring is required to operate this unit.

This compact unit has automatic built-in features to control the start and stop functions plus a 30A – 240 V double pole, latching transfer switch to ensure safe operations.

To put the model ESB in service as a stand by unit

1. Connect the power cord on the generator into a working 30A 240V outlet.

2. Plug the items you need protected from a power failure into the 120V – 240V receptacles on the generator panel.

3. Connect the fuel line on the ESB 5000 to a 20 or 30 pound LP tank.

4. To complete the hook up, turn the master switch on.

To test the unit, disconnect the power cord, simulating a power failure.
